After the death of Clara's sewed her sister Emma further on this quilt.

This is historically proven: the Quilt has worked in New South Wales, Australia, 1890-1915. By Emma

the quilt went into the possession of her niece Doris and then the wife of her nephew, who had three children. Clara was the aunt of her father, and thus the great-aunt of the children. Today these are called as a donor.

The original quilt by Clara Bate (Aunt Clara) now hangs in Powerhouse Museum, Sidney , Australia. Its especially good care and protection within the family during the entire time the quilt is in excellent condition.
